MPEG LA Resolves Apex Lawsuit

(Denver, Colorado, US – 10 March 2003) – MPEG LA is pleased to report that the action it filed against Apex Digital Inc. for failure to pay royalties was amicably resolved at the end of 2002. Apex has paid all amounts due as reflected in its royalty reports, and the fact that the matter could be resolved in such an expeditious fashion is a credit to Apex, and will benefit both Apex and MPEG LA in the future.
